WOMAD WOMAD 2004

This year's WOMAD takes place from 23-25 July on the banks of the River Thames at Rivermead in Reading with tickets on sale from Monday 15th March. As ever, they're likely to sell out quickly.

Tickets are priced at £95 for the whole weekend (limited availability "Early Bird" tickets priced £90), and all weekend tickets include free camping. Day tickets cost £30 for Friday, £51 for Saturday, and £46 for Sunday. Concessions available. Families are entitled to savings as children aged 13 and under can come FREE if accompanied by an adult. It will feature over 70 artists from 30 countries performing on seven outdoor and indoor stages. The following is a taster of some of the music that will be on offer, with many more artists to be confirmed:

As well as live music, WOMAD offers it's 26,000 visitors hundreds of participatory workshops for adults & children; late night grooves at 'Club WOMAD'; the cabaret tent; the kids' procession; a traditional funfair; great shopping in the 'Global Village' with international food, drink and merchandise stalls plus sumptuous site deco (flags, projections, visual art & temporary structures).
