Glastonbury rumour round-up
full Left Field programme now available!

Fri 23rd May 03

Glastonbury Festival Glastonbury Festival 2003

Friday
Futureshock will play a live set in the Dance Tent according to their website.

In an ad in the NME*, Nada Surf say they're playing.
* no, I didn't buy it (Andrex is cheaper, AND a better read) ... someone told me.

Grooverider and Fabio will broadcast their Radio 1 show live from the Festival on Friday night/Saturday morning.

Brendan Benson has confirmed on his website that he's playing.

We're told by a good source that David Saw is to play the Acoustic Tent.

Saturday
The Basement will play according to their website.

According to the Mute Records website, Goldfrapp are playing.

Sunday
Hope of the States will play in the New Bands Tent at 3:40pm.

We're told that The Lost Stage will include Nucleus Roots and Zion Train.

Other News
We're told that Carnival Collective - a 40 piece percussion, brass and bass outfit from Brighton - will be returning to Lost Vagueness this year for fun and frivolity (days/times to be confirmed).

According to the Sony Music website, Primal Scream are confirmed to play.

Mew will play according to their website.

Our source tells us that Mukka are definitely confirmed for the Avalon Stage, tho the day is still to be confirmed.

One of Weapons of Sound - with, it has to be said, a slightly dodgy memory - tells us that they'll be playing each morning in the Cabaret Marquee, and at midnight in the Circus Field (he thinks).

At 11 p.m. each day in the Circus Field, The Manchester Company Of Extreme Largeness Proudly Presents Joseph & His Amazing Technicolour Fireshow - setting himself on fire in cars and stuff.

There's now details of Lost Vagueness and Meccadonalds as well as the full programme for the Left Field available.

If you don't have a ticket, please stay away from the area during the festival - YOU WILL NOT GET IN, and you'll be putting the future of the Festival at risk.

If you have tickets to sell - at about face value - or want to pick-up a ticket at a reasonable price, get yourself to www.ScarletMist.com - there's no better place to buy or sell a ticket.
