there were errors in our newsletter Fri 28th Feb 03 Yesterday (Thursday 27th February) morning we spoke to Michael Eavis, primarily to double-check that children aged 12 and under would still be free this year (when accompanied by a ticket-holding adult) - this information is confirmed as correct. However, there appears to have been some misunderstanding with regard to the information he told us for the £105 entrance tickets. We've just been contacted by Glastonbury Festival, who tell us that the booking fee is £4, but this year there is an additional postage charge as well - they couldn't remember the amount precisely, but think it is £3.65. There is also a £5 car parking fee per vehicle; if you wish save yourself that money - and help save the planet - use public transport. The Campervan ticket price is still not firmed up, but is likely to be £40 (per vehicle). It has now been confirmed that tickets are to go on sale at 9am on Monday 31st March, not 1st April. All of these details should be set in stone at some point next week, and we'll of course bring you the information when available. Our apologies for any inconvenience caused. published: 11:37 (GMT)
