back on Brighton Beach

The date for the second massive free beach party in Brighton has been confirmed for Saturday 13th July.

After the sucess of last year - which saw an estimated 35,000 people attend with no arrests - Norman Cook is joined on the decks this year by fellow Brighton boys John Digweed and Midfield General (aka Skint's Damian Harris) for an evening of top notch seaside entertainment.

Big Beach Boutique 2 is hosted by Southern Fried Records, with the support of Brighton City Council, and has to be Europe's biggest free beach party.

Norman Cook comments: "Last year's Big Beach Boutique has to go down as the best gig of my life. To be asked to host Brighton's biggest free event two years running is a huge honour and is testament to the support that Brighton has shown dance music. I just had to do it again, and I'm really looking forward to DJing alongside John and Damian. With Brighton and Hove Albion promoted to the first division, it’s been a great year for our new city. See you on the beach!"
