The Foo Fighters have had to cancel all upcoming tour dates including a support slot for U2 at Dublin’s Slane castle this weekend, due to the suspected accidental overdose of their drummer Taylor Hawkins.

It has been reported today that after their appearance at V2001 in Chelmsford on Sunday night, the drummer 'overindulged' resulting in him being hospitalised Monday morning.

A spokesperson for the Foos is vigorously denying that Hawkins has ODed but there are very strong rumours to suggest this.

He is reported to be in a stable condition but no further details are available as yet.

Anyone who has brought tickets for any of there tour dates are advised to return to place of purchase where they should receive a full refund.
