I'm American, and I enjoy music, especially British music. I host a radio show here in the US that features all sorts of British artists, though I tend to gravitate more towards indie, rock, and pop. My favorite bands include The Libertines and Blur.
I'm also well versed at Scandinavian languages, horses, impromptu dance parties, and organization.
I'm a 21 year old student at a very large Big Ten university in the upper Midwest. For those not familiar with the specifics of my fine country, this means I live rather close to Canada and though most Midwesterners enjoy large SUVs and guns, I reside in a mecca of ridiculously liberal values and culture thanks to the college and state government being nearby.
I was lucky enough to attend Glastonbury 2010, and had a wonderful time. Due to a love of Denmark, I'd like to experience Roskilde first, I do plan on making it back to Glastonbury sometime soon. Until then, I will be sticking a little closer to home this summer to attend Bonnaroo.

First and foremost...music.

I'm also a keen horseback rider, radio DJ, and speaker of several Scandinavian languages.

Before Glastonbury 2009, I had only attended US festivals (Lollapalooza twice, Summerfest three times, and Pitchfork once), and clearly Glasto was a much more fulfilling experience. I hope to make it back some day soon, but until then I will be tiding myself over with a trip to Bonnaroo 2010, as well as the usual Midwest festivals...Pitchfork, Summerfest, Lollapalooza, etc.
