MY Dad has now set up a Facebook page AND a Youtube channel............ for the dog.

He posts as the dog and uploads videos as the dog. He also posts from his facebook account to the dogs facebook account.

Finally lost the plot.

I did that for my mates dog. I keep forgetting to post as/to him though.

Alright so not a pet, but I have (at least) one mouse in the living room. Was lying on the couch last night watching the snooker and I heard a sort of scratching in the couch and then a few minutes later the little bastard appeared underneath the Christmas tree.

I don’t want to kill it so I’ve set up a couple of home traps. Not as elaborate but something like this. Basically food in a toilet roll holder which will tip it into a bin so it cant get out, but wont die either.

Hopefully it'll be in the bin when I get home. Can they climb out of a 25 inch bin though?

Did you catch the mouse?

Well it was cancer as suspected. She will go in for an op next week but due to her age, the size of the lump, and the fact it's now the third time she has had it they will struggle to remove all of it and it's highly likely to return.

If she holds it off for another 4 years like she has this time then that's wonderful news and she will be 18 then so a very old lady.

If it comes back in only a few months time we have to look at having the foot and or leg amputated.

Poor old Cleo. She has been my most favourite cat and my bestest feline friend since I found her up a tree when I was just 17 :(

Poor Cleo. Let's hope the vet can buy her some time. :(

Nope. Got proper mouse traps now. He hasn't touched them. I see him every few days. Little bastard scuttles about. No idea where hes living, must be behind the skirting boards.

I hate to say it, but it's highly likely that it's them rather than him. Lots of them. You might need specialist help, they're a bugger to get rid of. Make sure all your grain-type food is sealed, no open packets anywhere.

use peanut butter in the trap, they love it. and if you are getting rid of it and not killing it make sure you dump it some way away otherwise he will be back. just getting rid of them in my loft.

How sad :( i don't know any ways of cheering up a dog who misses someone but that's really really sad :(

Does anyone know of any ways to cheer up dogs when the owners have passed away? I've tried giving them clothes of the person who died and giving them extra fuss but the pooch is still spending all day waiting by the front door.

I did! Ive seen him/them walk right by it!

We must be leaving enough food around the kitchen for him survive on. Either that or hes a genius mouse.

Can you change their routine? Are they still in the same environment? It'll take a while for them to adjust, they'll be trying to follow their old routine and won't understand why their owner's missing.

She (the dog) is still living at the same place and has the same routine but she is still mopey all the time and it's been over a month now.
