Glasto tent test on the gadget show

mmm, watched this has well, I have a Terra Nova! must say they all held quite well, But the Nova on the last test did take the brunt of the water, only the best...

channel fives gadget show have just road tested 3 tents in a glasto stylee. chucking wind, rain, mud and a flash flood at them.

no results on the website yet but if you get chance i'd recommend watching the ftr

I recorded it - watching the tests I would def. go for the igloo! The Gelert looked a bit scarey being flatened!

The majority of pop-ups (i.e. all Quechua, the biggest seller) are double skin. The construction means there is a preset gap between the inner and outer. On standard designs, that gap often depends on the outer being correctly tensioned. Which, with beer on the go, it sometimes isn't. :lol: So overall, a good double skin pop is better for condensation.

They are annoying f**kers to carry though!
