Gold

Pros

Spacious, there is room around your tent and you're not tripping over other peoples guide ropes.

Clean(er) toilets

Close to car park

Not noisy (in an offensive way)

Normally find that the crowd that inhabit Gold get laid and are easy to get it on with.

The ground is good for camping but there is a hill just before you get to the entrance to Red/Green

Cons

20 min walk from arena

I only found one set of food vans (was there any in other sites?)

Some people may find it too quiet

Pro's, it is were the love is at, Blind Mans porn

Amended, just for you.

YELLOW

P

Pros

5-10 min walk from arena

Fairly small....not too far to walk to water points etc

Toilets usually ok (apart from last year)

Atmosphere without it being as lively as red or as quiet as gold

C

Cons

Cos its small it fills up quickly

Not much space between tents

If you camp near the fence to path for arena may end up near a generator

Part of it on a hill...good if you're at the top if its raining, not so good if you're on the slope or at the bottom

GREEN CAMPSITE

Pros

Doesn't get too muddy when it rains.

Pretty chilled out, not too load, not too quiet.

Decent toilets - cleaned regularly (think tankers find it one of the easier sites to enter)

Good selection of food vans at the top of the hill to the arena.

Not a walk through from other sites to the arena.

Still plenty of space for those who arrive on Saturday but does fill up.

Cons

The walk back up the hill after the end of the night. Can seem a long way after a day of bouncing and cider.

20 mins from the arena (dependent which end your at).

The walk from South car park can be a bit trecherous in the rain.

Them bloody spiders!!!

greens close to where you get dropped off on the shuttle bus, about 10-15 mins walk from arena (may be longer i havent been for 2 years) wuite far away from the car parks. lots of space. 2 or 3 food vans, cant remember what they were tho. They had music blasting out tho and had little raves outside them ;) haha. Green is also home of the mighty Green army and the inflatable jousting. Well it was 2/3 years ago. Dunno if they still do it on the sunday night anymore. Basicly you get the inflatable stuff they give out for free and use it to run at each other with on the main path through green. great laugh!

I like green as not too many idiots there. It's chilled but enough activity in evening for some entertainment. it is a long walk from car park but have camped there last 2 years and its been well worth it. will try gold this year if room left. we arrived at about 6pm friday last year and not enough room for us to camp so plodded onto green where there was loads of room. filled up by sat morning

Will someone experienced help me find the perfect camping spot?

-I don't want too far a walk to the site, preferably not up hill.

-Toilet condition isn't too much of a problem but would like them not too far away (but not in seeping or smelling zone)

-Noise doesn't bother me can sleep through most

-Won't be that early because getting a train.

-Like a little space don't like tents practically ontop of each other.

-Like fun and partying.

-Dislike having my tent trampled on.

-Hate Spiders.

Please Help!

Sounds like blue or green are the perfect campsites for you....... but both got lots of spiders ;)

I was in Orange and there was the odd very small spider in my tent.

Some mates were in Green. They said it wasn't too bad..

On the saturday morning, one of the lads (Paul) woke up to find he had a few visitors in his tent

So he gathered them up and put them on the barbie. He made a killing selling them for £2.50 a scoop. Half the price of most of the stalls and a lot more nutritious too.
