Thanks GF

It's my dream job so my next dilemma is  - can I go part time & freelance for a while ?

For somebody who hates decisions & uncertainty I don't half make my life complicated   :)

The interview today went really well! I answered all questions fully and wasn't shy/nervous like I usually am in situations like that.

I recently had a training session at work which I found very useful, I think it's had some sort of lasting effect on me confidence wise which is great stuff really.

The job I applied for sounds amazing and very 'me', fingers crossed I get it, I'm fairly confident  ;)

Do we get a wish for posting the same time about the same thing?

Fingers crossed for you.  What is it doing & when will you know?

I got a tip from a very good friend of mine.  The answers do count, but it's the confidence which gets you remembered when they're making their final decision - handy if it's a close one.

It's working as a Youth Support Worker. Day to day I'm still not 100% sure what that entails but basically I am there to help and support young people.

If we get a wish for posting at the same time, I wish to get this job, it would be good for me  :)

I hope you get it!

I've been in my new job for 6 weeks now and I finally feel I've got one I really enjoy. My boss told me last night that I gave a near perfect interview, which put a smile on my face.

Nice one, I usually hate new jobs for about 3 months as I don't know what I'm doing around the processes of a new service. Hate feeling like a spare part, especially that 1st week where you're grinning at everybody & being nice as you don't want to put your foot in it.  It's just not natural for me   ;)

When you do you'll be glad you didn't get that last job  :P

Nah, I still have every faith that with a bit of guidance and support the majority of today's yoof are good people. I got all cynical in the past but realise that without the help and support I got as a kid/teenager I'd probably have been quite a handful myself.......I still am I guess, but I don't bother anyone else in the process

Good luck Bunique  ;)

I know exactly what you mean. I'm just coming to the end of my first week. I hate being newboy  :)
