Even just some speculation, fantastic to hear.
3 Legends.......be great if your source is right.

Also, bound to be a couple of ska acts what with Madness, Beat etc previously.

I very much hope so, was amazing last year.

Neville Staple would be a good edition.

Oh Yay. :P
Whether an appearance in his own right, or guest performer with the Beat.
Or Pama International. :)

Or a re-union of The Specials??!! :P
They would of course HAVE to be headliners so difficult if Dr Dig has heard Levs, James, & Blondie?
Any more news or recent rumours with The Specials either with or without Jerry Dammers? :P

Last year saw the marvellous Neville in a dance tent at Glasto, walked around the corner to the main stage where Lilly Allen was performing and said to my mate, in jest, 'I bet Terry Hall and Lynval Golding are here somewhere, I can smell them'
She laughed at my absurd musings until we then looked up on the screens to see her introduce them.
I'm a bit ashamed to say I burst into noisy tears of confusion and joy.
This was after Ms Winehouse singing Monkey Man as well.

I heard gangsters sung live 4 times last year. :) :)

Absolutely loved the Dub Pistols, would pay to see them again

Terry & Lynval also got together on the Park Stage @ Glasto during the Africa Express thing, and did 'Rudy' (at least I think it was that, maybe my memory is playing tricks, I can't be certain now).

From things that were said last year it looked as tho a Specials reunion was going to happen this year, which of course would be massive. But it looks like Neville is getting on with doing his own thing still, so it doesn't look that likely. :P

My source say's that the headliners have still to be agreed so maybe you all could be right about the Special's. I agree that would be unbelieveable.

Watch this space, I heard of another huge 80's band that are being looked at for Sunday undercard.

Let's just say that they've had at least 10 top ten hits.

I'll keep you all guessing for now, it will be "Facination", i mean facinating!!

That is TWICE I have heard The Human League being mentioned. :P OMG it Must be true.
I was never a fan at the time (or at least would never admit to liking them!)
However, A bit of "DONTCHA WANT ME BABY..DONTCHA WANT ME OOOOHH OOOOOHHHH!" Would be ace! :P

And if The Specials as well....I'd think i'd died & gone to Heaven!

I'd forgotten Amy Winehouse covered "Monkey Man".
If "Gangsters" 4 times that must have included the pair of them with Lily Allen.
Like her or loathe her I have to say when they did "Gangsters" together I skanked my wellies off and that was one of my best Glasto moments of last year. :P

YES PLEASE! With Terry Hall for "Problem Is"

And while on the theme of Ex-Specials. Lynval Golding with Pama International at Guilfest this year would be Ace! :)

Well done that man! You was right!

From announcement on eFestivals earlier today:

"Folk-punk legends The Levellers headline the opening night on Friday 4th July! The festival favourites return to GuilFest to celebrate their 20th anniversary. Pop icon Debbie Harry brings her band Blondie back to the main stage and will headline on Saturday 5th July. The Australian Pink Floyd Show will be bringing the festival to a close on Sunday 6th July....."

Will, Is that for your older Brothers big birthday bash?

I have a similar dilemma as Friday nite poses a big problem for me :P
Levellers @ GuilFest? OR
Wonderstuff @ Blissfields? OR
Morrisey @ 02 Wireless?

Decisions, decisions? ip, dip, sky blue....

I knew that he was, with both his first headliners list and his second - James were originally in the running as aq possible headliner, and I knew that Oz Pink Floyd were in Tony's mind too.
