hi there

this year will be my first year at the isle of wight ive been going to the v festival and thought i d give the isle of wight festival ago aswell,

cant wait to go maybe i ll see some of you there

All the marvellous treacles from this forum meet up every year at the IOW festie, to put faces to posts (so to speak!). Open invite. The details of this years meet for those not camping with the rest of us will be disclosed nearer the time.

You will be more than welcome to come and drink silly amounts of Strongbow with the rest of us this year Halle30.

Gotta say it's a brill fest, always a very humerous bunch attending - a particular memory springs to mind, after the last act of the evening and on mass going back to various camp sites we got hearded thru a narrow gate way when someone started to bleat like a sheep and soon after it sounded like a whole flock of sheep bleating, then we were confronted by a landrover with a very bright spotlight surrounded by what looked like armed police, and a chap says don't shoot i'm unarmed hehe made me chuckle I can tell ya. And how the organisers arrange the good weather every time astounds me.

possible going to isle of wight this year have a chance of a ticket if i want it to go wif some mates, not sure i can face the 15 hour journey from scotland tho, sure it i'l be well worth it if i did
