shuttlep
I know it's a little sad , but without having all the usual fun and line ups released and chat with friends about what why where and when. where shall we meet who shall we see what fancy dress will we take this year feels slightly empty talking to Margaret by the photocopier about where she is going on holiday just isn't the same as my normal conversations I am immersed in this time if year. they could at least give us one person who is playing in 2019 ... something , anything throw me a freaking bone man. Rumours that Fatboy Slim and Mik Artistic might play. Hope that helps.

I think Fat Boy Slim lives there, in the underground piano bar, he is probably doing a secret set tonight for the badgers Edited April 12, 2018 by shuttlep

gmb1992
I think I actually prefer it being on and not being able to go than nothing at all.
Yoghurt on a Stick
I actually really like Benidorm. I wouldn't go in to an Oirish bar abroad though (unless that abroad was Ireland). Mind you, my names not Margaret, and I'm not xenophobic.

Homer
I'm the opposite. Fallow years don't bother me - but the festival happening and me not being there would kill me (in theory anyway - it's not happened since 1997!).
Tommy101
Incidentally I got a great bit of advice once, never go into an 'Irish Bar' with a neon sign out front. I've done some observing since and it tends to be a good litmus test in my experience.

By that reasoning you did actually die in 1997, and I therefore conclude that me being able to communicate with you means that I am a medium - OK, maybe an XL! stuartbert two hats
I know what you mean. I'm watching old Glastonbury video diaries on YouTube weeping into my scrumpy.
Yoghurt on a Stick
I've also just had a little cry. Nothing major major - just a little weep for someone who was like a brother to me, and my other actual brothers. He died too early, and there's something that I now realize that I forgot to do for him. Am about to make amends on that front. I did mark his passing, but not with flowers. Now, I realize that flowers are a must too. It's only fitting. I've never really got that bit before, but know what it means now. 1

I once went in a ‘English pub’ in Delhi that had table service and seemed to be modelled on the bar from cheers, it was as though an Indian had built a pub based on plans made by an American who had once read than we have pubs in Britain but had never been in one or had any idea on what they are like.
