How did you do this, you wizard?

I have no idea, I literally just went through Rolling Stones site and went to Lucky Dip on the Edinburgh gig. I went through quickly, so I've made the mistake of box office collection, which is a bit of a pisser, but I'm not complaining if I've got this lucky. But my order confirmation is saying GA. What does everyone else's say on the Lucky Dip?

Doing a bit of research... from past experience it seems you aren't allocated a seat / space until you get to the arena.

Just box office collection kind of vibe, it seemed. Don't know whether it would be the same here of course - doesn't seem an ideal set up though

Just read a few US forums from 2015.

I think it is the default.

It might well be. Only thing is, I don't know why it wouldn't just say Lucky Dip. Should be easy enough to find out by looking on one of their forums and seeing how many people got this.

I've paid for delivery so I guess i'll find out when they arrive. £30 for the Stones is good value wherever you're sat/stood

If you look on your confirmation email it says "General Admission - Lucky Dip"

I'll just assume I could still be anywhere then.

Is there any way of changing my collection to delivery if I phone up?

Yeah. Let's be honest, it's more than likely to the cheap seats on the side so if you prepare for that, anything better is a bonus

I wasn't even gonna go when I calculated the price up for 2 of us to go, but 2 Lucky Dip tickets have cost me £70ish with fee's, and got a hotel for £53 in Livingston. Great value, especially on a Saturday night.

"As a part of the general on sale, a limited number of Lucky Dip tickets will be sold, plus service charges. All Lucky Dip tickets will be sold as a pair. The ticket locations will be throughout the venue, including Side View Upper Level, and Floor.

You and your guest will find out your seat locations when you pick them up the night of the show.

We will be using strict anti-scalper measures to ensure that these tickets go to Stones fans and don’t end up on the resale market with wildly inflated prices.

We appreciate your attention to the following, so that you have the best experience possible:

You must pick up your tickets in person, along with your guest. Once you have the tickets in hand, you will be escorted into the venue. There will not be an opportunity to leave with your tickets before going into the show

Picture ID, your confirmation number, and the credit card used to make the purchase are required for pick-up. Without these things, you will not be able to pick up your tickets.

If we suspect any reselling or transfer of these tickets they will be immediately voided and you will not be entitled to any refund."

I didn't know about the lucky dip option until I came on here this morning. Reminds me of the time when someone mentioned cheaper tickets on sale for BST and I got 2 tickets for £2.50! This website is a great source for gig and festival information, well worth paying for the Gold membership

Phenomenal hey.  Came on and now have 2 Stones tickets for 22nd May at the London stadium for under £70!!! Mad

I paid for delivery? Thought I was meant to collect them on the day? (Not that I’m moaning)

They charge for collection, so maybe you still have to collect. From what it says on the thing a few posts up, it wouldn't make sense if they offered delivery, since you aren't allowed the ticket until you want to enter the stadium.

Am worried now that it was supposed to be kind of secret like Glastonbury resales and I have buggered it all up. Although how secret can it be with a big red button that says 'Lucky Dip'?

Sharing is caring.  Thanks for doing so!
