aidenlangan95
This is going to be impossible to buy tickets for. I still remember Sufjan Stevens being hard enough by himself to get tickets for. And with so many great artists, the southbank centre website will just completely buckle under the pressure. DownboundTrain52
FALKING HELL. That is a stellar line-up. That could have been two APE days and people would have FLOCKED. Given that I'm attempting to be stringent on bands who I've had the pleasure of before, only Placebo and MBV would catch my attention of the headliners there. Not sure I could justify the potential of a £65 tag for either though. Edited March 6, 2018 by DownboundTrain52
chemica
This is fantastic. Placebo, NIN and MBV. Yes please.
evilduck
I've not been to Meltdown in a while, does anyone know if the tickets can sell out totally to members, or do they hold some back for general sale?
jump
I'll just echo fucking hell, that's a nice line up.

WoodyGooner
If I buy a Southbank membership can I buy two tickets in the pre-sale or is it one ticket per membership?

The last time I saw them play they grabbed Gary Numan onstage as well.

Their 2014 Manchester show was part of the finest musical weekend of my life (I also saw Prince the day before/after).

Hoping the cheap seats aren't too bad... It was £45 for the O2 last time they toured in 2014, I imagine their normal gig prices will be above that this year. Cheapest seats at the royal festival hall are usually the very back of the balcony, and they sometimes have standing bits at the back too. TomViolence
The best line-up I remember for this! Definitely tempted by Mogwai, 65dos and MBV. Placebo and Deftones would be cool too but not sure how it'll work in either of the venues as I'm sure they're fully seated? Don't mind sitting for the for the former 3. Sasperella
Has anyone had much success with Meltdown tickets in the past? I just purchased a membership purely for NIN, but I've read on Drowned in Sound, that the site generally crashes for hours and the only real hope is to camp outside the box office from about 4am....is this for real??? It is disturbingly believable... I'm in Peru and tried posting a plea on facebook for any of my friends to go and wait there for me, but weirdly, no one seems up for it. Also, NIN kindly emailed a password for their pre-sale, which is the day after the venues presale. So, fat lot of good that will be.... If by some sort of sheer luck I get through, I'm sooo tempted by Placebo and Deftones also!

No I think their queue is session based so refreshing should keep you in the same queue. It's not moved at all yet though, it's not just you. I assume its all come crashing down already.
