Towards the end of my reign of stupidly efficient terror, a new surveyor was employed, He introduced himself to me as xyz(name) and then immediately said ' I used to be a Womble'. I can't recall now whether he was an original, or a member of the follow on band. Anyway, it was enough fame for me, so I agreed to nosh on his stump up the back of a curry house.
