Its cheap compared to the shops daaan south

Can't say I've ever noticed any significant difference tbh. I did pick up a couple of records at Rough Trade East for a few quid cheaper than anywhere in Manchester was selling them in September, and their tent at Green Man seemed to be priced a little bit cheaper all round, although they denied it when I asked.

Don't know about Rough Trade as I tended to avoid shopping in London but Brighton (Resident) and Pompey (Pie n Vinyl) were always spenny for new releases. Piccadilly i've noticed is almost always a couple of quid cheaper for some reason (rent, I guess, mainly)

I'l shup and let people get back to the lists now tho

2) Waxahatchee

Good Waxahatching fam. By pure coincidence this is one of the records I picked up cheaper in Rough Trade East (other was untitled unmastered) Team Crutchfield had a strong year.

I shall be posting mine after Christmas, I have standards.

You’re making @Will-2609 wait that long to find out what his favourite albums of the year are?

And go back and delete any traces of Bowie from last years top 10 whilst you’re at it.

Dare someone to put Morrissey in

I was in London earlier this week.

The new Morrissey album posters were on numerous billboards, but had been edited to make sure the 'Axe the Monarchy' banner on the album cover couldn't be seen.

Seemed a bit daft to me that anyone would bother blocking such a thing but I guess it's more a 'don't slag off of our biggest tourist attraction' type thing.

Surprised to see no mention of All Them Witches - Sleeping Through The War. First track 'Bulls' is one of my favourite tracks this year.

Good call sir, was listening to that this morning

don't think it's made anyone's lists but Fleet Foxes Crack-Up takes it for me this year. Marvelous stuff that seemed to go under-the-radar to most who lapped up their first two records or who have gone over to focusing more on Father John Misty's stuff now.

I’m still yet to grasp the Father John Misty hype.

Not sure I agree to be honest but there you go. First year The Fall have been knocked off the top spot.
