Waxahatchee. The show at Deaf Inst sold out before I got on it last year, spent ages scabbling round for anybody selling tickets but no luck. Band On The Wall isn't as good a venue but I don't mind, it's ok. I've spent this week solidly banging Kendrick and assorted Crutchfield projects. Waxahatchee tickets giving me something to live for once the Kendrick gig is over tomorrow night.

O2 Priority are advertising a gig for Jungle - the dance-funk group signed to XL -  at the O2 Ritz Manchester in May. Supposedly a UK tour is on its way then

This is good news.

Tried for Paul Simon tickets this morning but missed out on floor seats. I really can't justify the price to sit in the tiers. So as of now there's no Paul for me :( Going to keep an eye on it though, see what comes up.

Meanwhile, Britney Spears has announced a Blackpool show on 1 September! :D

There are floor seats on See rn.

And even better news than that, I saw that Britney's tour support is Mr. 305/Worldwide.

Reading/Leeds lineup is out tomorrow morning apparently.

Could be tempted by a day ticket if Kendrick is playing.

This is a little different. Extra date added to the up-coming Hold Steady shows. You get to join them for a Sunday lunch on this one.

Are they cooking and serving the lunch themselves?

Not sure who is cooking the lunch but I'm told it's roast pork.

I have tickets for the 10th at the Electric Ballroom - can't wait!

Imagine paying money to get shouted at by Jonathan Pie.

He's fucking awful isn't he? I only ever encountered him at Latitude in 2016, got recommend that he was good, then just some prick shouting "BREXIT AND THE TORIES ARE BAD" without any jokes... Satire, allegedly.
