When they played Manchester last year the Albert Hall was half empty. In fact I think they closed off the upper seating, which I've never known happen before. This might have been, in part, because it was the night after Ariana Grande though.

Fair enough, the smaller venues make sense in that case - I just assumed they were bigger and the album seem to fare well, critically at least. Anyway, I predict that it'll be be Castlefield Bowl gigs preceding Sounds of the City. Hopefully with some cooler names because there are some bands in Europe around that time that I wanna see who don't have UK/northern England gigs but I'm not counting on it. Chic could go either way. This still hasn't been announced - wondering if there is a reason for that? The FB post has 100% been removed.

So £110 if you want floor tickets essentially I shouldn't be too gutted, I saw him do the Apollo in 2016, centre of about the 6th row back, and I don't think it'll ever get any better than that. But I've been listening to him constantly since before I could even talk, so it feels a bit wrong that I won't be seeing him on the last tour. I'd be wanting him to be singing 'You can call me Dave' for that price.

Most displeasing as I'm not arsed about Chic & Nile one bit. 8 minutes ago, DiscothequeDave said: He did used to live in Colwyn Bay you know (Nile Rodgers, not dentalplan) Lmao how strange. I saw him at FN6 and he didn't even mention it as far as I can recall. Too busy listing off all the hits he wrote, I suppose.

Inessential obviously but you'd have a good time.
