The Metro has confirmed the headliners before hasn’t it? Could we find out in the morning maybe

Metro publish their papers at midnight, on the app, or at least they used to. (If it is in the metro, might explain why the announcement is at 12)

The point still stands, all be it the festivals were a week before, no band has ever played NOS Mad Cool and Latitude.

It just loses legs after you learn mad and nos didn't used to be on the same weekend as lat

I see where you're coming from now, apologies.

When an announcement is in the Metro its normally at like 8am

Wait, so Metro has released the details for the line-up already or not?

Sorry, I meant in previous years the metro had the announcement of headliners in it on the day of announcement. So I thought we might not have to wait until midday for headliners, although we would get the full announcement at lunchtime

I thought they did it for latitude the year it was tdcc/lily allen, damon albarn, black keys.

Very possible that I just misremembered that completely, I’m not based in London so don’t read it

I'll be honest, regardless of line-up, Latitude is fantastic.

Comedy/ Food/ Relaxed atmosphere/ good campsites.

I love it.

Even if Solange, Catfish and Bryan Ferry headline I'd still have a good time. (I love Solange, but she shouldn't headline)

Seconded

I think these two doing festivals that probably only knock out one day of Latitude (that's certainly the case with Snow Patrol) makes them more likely, if anything

David Byrne: I thought I read somewhere he is playing Friday at bbk and Sat at Cruilla. Thought 3 consecutive days are unlikely.

Snow Patrol: I'll update this (forgot to edit them from the last post.)

Yeah it says this on his website actually.

Final guess of Bastille, Ben Howard, Snow Patrol.

I think that'd be weak as hell - they're usually quite good at plucking a reasonably decent/big name from out of nowhere

I assume that may be The Killers this year, going off the info a few pages back. Not exactly 'out of nowhere' but by Latitude's standards it would be.

Bastille, The Killers and, fuck it, Nine Inch Nails. Pink berets all round.
