Own showers, toilets, security and large open spaces between the tents to socialise. Nice amount of space between each tent and the ground is in better condition - Both are considerably worse in normal camping. You also have the benefit off being able to walk around normal camping if you wish - Good for finding most things if you catch my drift. Only problem is people from normal camping aren't allowed into Glamping without a wristband which can be slightly problematic if you have friends outside of it. Any other questions please feel free to ask. When i went in 2012 Glamping only had around 50 tents. Last year there was about 600. Once youve had a walk around the normal camping youll soon understand why people will pay the money to stay in Glamping and why its become so popular

Obvious advantages are you're closer to the town, the beach, the bars, supermarkets ect. But then you're quite a distance from the festival! We prefer Glamping in Campfest just because you have the freedom of popping back your tent for a few more beers if there's a gap in the music you're not keen on. Its literally a 5 minute walk from the main stage back to your tent!

High possibility I be on my own so rather this than be in a cramped campsite etc for the extra €75 saves alot of hassle
thelemon
Hello everybody, only ever been to festivals in the UK but a load of us seriously considering Bennicassim in summer. Could anyone explain how it works with tickets like is the festival four or three days? And what's this about 8 days camping included in the price? Is that a thing, and if it is how is it structured, as in is it 4 days before the main festival, 4 days after, 2 either side etc? Also if anyone could explain the Villacamp package? Obviously it's more expensive but is it worth the extra and do you still get the same amount of time there? Cheers, can't really make it out from the website and I'm pretty unfamiliar with the festival! Also.apologies if this has already been talked about in the thread, my phone always plays up when I try to navigate previous pages. Cheers, can't really make it out from the website and I'm pretty unfamiliar with the festival! Festival is 4 days - Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun - and runs overnight (because of the heat in the day). First bands on about 6pm, headliners 1am-2.30am each night, and music continues on stage/in large tents until approx 4am Thu, and 6am Fri/Sat/Sun nights. The 4 day festival ticket comes with 8 days free camping - campsites being open Midday Monday 16th July to Midday Monday 23rd July. Villacamp is a separate campsite located about 30 min walk (10 min shuttle bus) to the festival arena site, and is quieter/smaller than the main 'Campfest', which is located next to the arenas (5-10 min walk). Villacamp closer to the beach, and next door to a 24hr Burger King, and the main/big Lidl supermarket for cheap food & booze. I've not camped, but from what I've heard, there's better shading and toilet/shower facilities at Villacamp, but someone who has experience both versions of camping could probably better confirm this. If you're staying at Villacamp or Campfest, you'll be best buying a full week bus ticket, giving you unlimited access to the shuttle bus network between festival, beach, town, Villacamp, etc.... If you want to stay in Villacamp, you need to buy a regular festival 4day/camping 8 day, plus the separate Villacamp ticket. Villacamp also open for 8 days from Mon-Mon. Would you get the bus pass thing from the website when you buy the festival ticket I'm guessing? Also, which airport would you fly into? Aside from being in Spain I've really no idea where it actually is haha! And the headliners currently are LG, Travis Scott and The Killers right? So who's likely to be the fourth? You can buy a bus pass from either campsite when you arrive - they cost just €15 for the full week https://fiberfib.com/en/info/getting-around.php#buses Most frequent (and currently cheapest flights) would be going into either Alicante or Barcelona, both a 3hr shuttle bus journey each way from airport to festival. Valencia airport is closest, just 1 hour away, but there's less choice of flights, and prices are usually more expensive for Valencia just before/after Benicassim, for obvious reasons. You can also fly into Reus, which is a bit closer than Alic/Barc, so don't rule that out. You can book shuttle buses from all airports to/from the festival, but they run on certain days/times. When the official coach shuttles go on sale, they should be available here (over the next few months) https://fiberfib.com/en/info/getting-to-the-festival.php#transfers 4th headliner is the now THE big Q - a load of people were hoping for the AM's, up until yesterday's announcement. Given that Liam/Travis aren't your 'big' headliners, and there are usually 2 bigs/2 smaller each year, you would hope that the 4th will be a big name, but who knows? LG's stock has rose since last year, he didn't have solo album when he played Beni which has gone down pretty well, although I agree he is not a 'big' headliner, so hopefully there's still a big act to come if there are any left?!? SCG95
I don’t get why Beni would want to wait til March again - the line up at this point last year was much stronger. Secondly, MadCool and Primavera have all but finalised their line ups. Surely it makes sense to get the final headliner out sooner rather than later to push sales? Secondly, MadCool and Primavera have all but finalised their line ups. Surely it makes sense to get the final headliner out sooner rather than later to push sales? Last year's line up was probably the best/strongest since 2012, for the Roses comeback gigs, and was more of a 'one-off' compared to recent years - hence why camping sold out, and they were pretty much at 100% capacity (for the first time in absolute years) on the Sat night. This years early line up is probably as meaty as those for 2013/14/15/16 at this stage, if not, better. 2018 is looking 'standard Benicassim' to me, especially when you take into account people have so far paid between just £90-£115 for a 4 day ticket. To answer someone else's above point, Liam G is headlining TRNSMT at the end of June, and has sold out stand alone shows in Finsbury Park (where QOTSA are also playing this summer, but haven't yet sold out) and Old Trafford this summer, which is the same venue that the Foo's and Radiohead have played at over recent years, so I think some people are underestimating how much Liam's stock has moved from FIB 2017 to FIB 2018. Jancker19
Can someone tell me how warm it is at night in a tent? Do I need to bring a sleeping bag or is it enough to have a light blanket? If I need glamping for me and two friends of mine, I should pay 100€ for one ticket and receive 3 wristbands? I took a sleeping bag but after the first night I realised it wasn't necessary. Literally woke up like a boil in the bag salmon! Never done glamping so I can't help you with that one I'm afraid.

I'm planning to do the glamping too and from what have seen online from previous years you book your tent then bearer the time they contact you about names etc so if you book the easy tent for 3 or 4 people be grand In terms of sleeping I was planning on just taking a sheet with me and buy 1 of them lilos over there to sleep on.

U08ad15
Hi, it's my first time at the festival but bought tickets straight away after seeing last years lineup... I'm feeling very underwhelmed however by this years so far... how many more medium bands can we expect to see on the bill (dmts, the hunna, the sherlocks, sundara, slaves, courteneers etc...) also I've seen people say that the headliners follow an indie, rock, rap, "dance" suit.. is this true and if so which are we waiting for??? Travis=rap Liam=pop killers=pop/(rock at a push) that leaves dance... if the final act is dance it will be the worst lineup I've seen lookin back over the years?? Sorry for such such a long post
