Someone said that The XX could be a dance-act rather then a plain headliner. Could this be possible then:

Thursday: Gorillaz - Queens of the Stone Age - Snow Patrol...
Friday - The XX - Arctic Monkeys - Noel Gallagher...
Saturday: Pearl Jam - The Killers - 30 Seconds To Mars
Sunday: Muse - Nick Cave - Franz Ferdinand...

FTFY :P

I'm the same, I only did 2017 but would say these were my high/lowlights...

My 5 best:
1. Prophets of Rage
2. Arcade Fire
3. Foo Fighters
4. Rag'n'Bone Man
5. Royal Blood

My 5 worst:
1. Blink-182 - Painful, I didn't enjoy them at Leeds '14 and without their lead singer it just seems a bit of a mess.
2. Radiohead - Just aren't my thing, it could have been the best set they've ever done and I think they'd still be on my list.
3. Alt-J - Was really looking forward to them, wasn't the crowd/stage/time, I'm sure The Barn would have been better.
4. Kings of Leon - I have to keep reminding myself they were there.

On a positive note, I can only think of four acts I saw that deserve to even be considered a lowlight

What did Radiohead ever do to you guys? :D
I saw them in Berlin in 2016 and loved it! But I do admit they probably aren´t everyones favourite kind of music...

Yeah, I love their set at Werchter but I think it probably wouldn't have been as great if you didn't go in as a fan! haha!

They were pretty good at Werchter but I still think festivals are to showcase your best or in this case, most known material...sure, chuck a few new songs in from the new album but festival goers want to see the classics...

If you're not a big Radiohead fan then only the encore set would have impressed you and by that time you were probably dead on your feet :D

I don't think it's a problem with their music but their attitude. people want to enjoy themselves and have more warmness at a gig, but this is my opinion.
Ah, on records they're one of my fav band :D

The Radiohead gig was brilliant. And pretty crowd pleasing for their standards. I've also never seen this much people with different nationalities as during their gig. Pyramid Song, 2+2=5 and the mass Karma Police singalong were unforgettable.

My 5 best:

1. Blur - 2013

2. Paul McCartney - 2016

3. Radiohead - 2017

4. PJ Harvey - 2016

5. Metallica - 2009

My 5 worst:

1. Black Eyed Peas - 2011

2.  Linkin Park - 2017

3. Alt-J - 2017

4. Metallica - 2014

5. Blink 182 - 2017

What did Metallica do right in 2009 that they did so wrong in 2014!?

Funny to see how points of view change...

Best (classified by "OH MY GOD WHAT DID I JUST SEE" (I'm not a believer) ) : 1- Pearl Jam (2014)

2 - Damien Rice (2015)

3 - The Cat Empire (2015)

4 - Too many ex-aequos... Robert Plant (2014 and 2016), Glen Hansard (2016), Paul McCartney (2016), Linkin Park (2017), Mumford and Sons (2015), Reignwolf (2014), Gary Clark Jr(2016), System of a Down (2017) and others...

Worst are not classifiable but my biggest disappointments (left the show) : Radiohead 2017, Beirut 2016, Red Hot Chili Peppers 2016, Arctic Monkeys 2014, Beck 2016

I like Radiohead, and I wish I was at Glatonbury... But this time it was hard to not give up before Pyramid song...I can't explain...Standards arrived on the second part of the show...Plus the show was not enjoyable from the back...Not any single one of my tribe was not bored as fuck by this show... It has even become a joke and we see a boring band at a festival ("Can we say that they are still better than Radiohead ?") and I swear that we were very excited to see them before...(and all deeply passionnated by music)

Only went in 2013 but the best I saw were Nick Cave, Blur, Editors and Sigur Rós (one for each day, funnily enough), with Nick Cave miles out in front.

Saw some shit ones including Graveyard and A Day to Remember but they were just acts I saw to fill gaps/on the recommendation of others so wasn't too disappointed.

My top-2 are pretty easy, its that other 3 that are hard to pick as there were many excellent shows in the 4 edition Ive been. In another day you'll ask me, I may pick Nick Cave, DCFC or Glen Hansard for numbers 3-5.

Best:

1. Pearl Jam (2014)

2. Damien Rice (2015)

3. Elbow (2015)

4. Editors  (2013)

5. Ryan Adams (2015)

I cant really pick the worst 5 because I usually go away if Im not having fun and if I go away in the middle of the concert I feel I cant really judge it because maybe it got better afterwards.  With that said, I did stay for the whole Pharrell concert which was the worst Ive seen for sure.  KoL in 2013 was the most disappointing.

My personal BEST

1. Pearl Jam (2014/2012) - GODS
2. Oasis (2009) - always loved the Gallaghers and that show was (so far) the only one for me
3. Faith No More (2015) - best substitute ever, had more headbanging than during this year's FF show
4. P!nk (2010) biggest surprise for me
5. Robert Plant & the Sensational Spaceshifters (2014) - LEGEND...

and WORST

1. The XX (2012) - THE most boring band ever (IMO)
2. Alt-J (2017) slept through most of the show, and I was front row to GC for Foo Fighters
3. Justice (2012) - not my cup of dance tea
4. The Black Keys (2014) had a lot of hopes up, but then they came on stage and well...same tune over & over again
5. Radiohead (2008) - no GC barriers, crowd pushing & pushing + setlist that didn't appeal to my taste
