Tartan_Glasto
Right Now by HAIM. I was looking forward to seeing them play that song as I saw what they were doing with it live from the Radio 1 Big Weekend footage. However it exceeded my expectations! That guitar riff in the middle was ear popping! So fucking loud it was amazing! Then that drum solo at the end... Was in the crowd watching it myself cause my friend was sitting on the grass further back cause she was too hungover and I kept thinking she'd be gutted to be missing it! Gnomicide
Loads this year, the two big secret sets where just to my liking which made a nice change and some of the usual suspects had some mighty fine moments. Elbow - Grounds For Divorce, Mirrorball, Little Fictions, Lippy Kids... Hell, the whole set apart from The Birds. I don't really like The Birds Killers - All These Things That I've Done/Mr Brightside combo Beans On Toast - Jamie & Lily Hobo - 3 Little Birds First Aid Kit - Emylou Slaves - Debbie, Where's Your Car Frank Carter - I Hate You

That's right - I knew I was in Avalon, I have no idea why I typed Acoustic. What amazed me about them was that they did 'Dance the Night Away as their opening song and I thought - 'well what now?' ....and then every song they did just sounded like I'd known it all my life and made me happy and want to dance more. CaledonianGonzo
It's disappointing that all the best bits of The Avalanches set seem to have been in the first half, which those of us coming over from #Pezza all missed. That said, I enjoyed what I did see.

kellly
I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed Royal Blood little monster, a real treat to my ears this year. But I have loads to be honest from this year, I heard a lot of songs which I have always wanted to hear live. The killers Mr Brightside has to be in there for the effort put into the sing along by all, and Foo Fighters best of you is a song I have always wanted to hear live
