Does queuing on Tuesday avoid parking in pink car park

So this was 7th Glastonbury and always aim for west side gate D and always arrive about 12pm Wednesday.

We always aim for Baileys.

Never really fancied the whole sleeping in car thing and 6 times out of 7 arriving on Wednesday have ended up in pink car park which has to be a good 2 mile walk.

So basically. If you queue Tuesday night for gate D do you get in car park on the right side of the road or is it all pot luck?

I hope this makes sense.

6 pints of Sierra Nevada to get over Glastonbury blues may or may not have been involved!
