It was, it was impossible to deter everyone who tried to get over, so much dodgy characters about, not enough security and poor infrastructure back then. We wandered around outside one year near the travellers field, our crew camp was near the old WBC crew camp over near Gate C. When walking around, we seen a gap in the fence and some dodgy scouser charging £20 each to get in, it was only when we showed him our security wristband and crew band, did he let us in without charging us! 🤣

Annoyingly I'm assuming anyone who has snuck in recently will be keeping quiet. And anyone with fool proof methods but have yet to implement them won't pipe up. If you're reading this, tell us your secrets! Stop being selfish!

Be careful what you wish for, a cushy volunteer position could be very boring and the time will drag massively. A busy position is much preferable, being busy helps the time fly by. -

Yeah I saw A Perfect Circle too, I seem to remember a load of promotional frisbees getting thrown out into the crowd. -
I always took it as a challenge at festivals like that to smuggle in as much Vodka as I could. I still did it at TRNSMT last year even though I’m 47 and can afford to buy drinks from the bars. I just can’t be arsed queueing and, well it’s the principle of it.
