I just got back, drive was a struggle as was out late last night. Stopped a few times to get fresh air on the way. Stay safe people.

Not strictly driving but on the first shuttle to Castle Cary as we speak. Got just under two hours to wait there - and then onto the first train for Bristol!

Drive really was a struggle last night due to tiredness. Had a couple of "oh shit!" moments. Luckily only had 50 odd miles to go. Be safe people.

Going back to portsmouth tomorrow. Too whacked to drive today so staying in Weston Super with a mate I went with

I was struggling on the M5 this morning. Pulled into Hopwood Park services, had a coffee and a croissant, and felt much better. Powered up the M42/M1/M18/M62 and back home.

By the way, I love the polarising nature of service station clientele on the Monday morning after Glastonbury. Smartly dressed business people and the likes of me with a Water Aid temporary tattoo on my forehead, dressed in yesterday's clothes, limping painfully.

Always my favourite part of Monday morning stopping off at Michaelwood services on the M5 and seeing all the tired happy folk.

. You're not the only one! We usually get taken to flipping Gloucester services, which is lovely if you're after a farm shop, but useless for festival coaches. The contrast between non-festival people and folk who stop there is hilarious! Luckily as I type this I'm at Michaels Wood

Gloucester services had no room for campers so had drive through, was looking forward to a good breakfast

 

with a stop later, left farm at 07:45 back in East Lanacashire before 14:00- great run, topping off a great weekend

Got out of the car park at 1030 with traffic flowing freely then got stuck crawling from the m5 right through to the m6 at about Preston. Fucking nightmare. Hopefully home before half 8!

Apart from me crying every 20minutes or so our drive home was a breeze haha and didnt have to queue for long to get out of the car park either! result
