slipmatt
Hello people There was a spelling error on our address - not on the one we registered, but on the delivery to our house from a friends house (the lead booker who got all three). Turns out they've been rejected and are now en-route to the main UK Belfast returns office - which handles the whole of the UK's returned or bounced mail(!). Obviously cutting it fine... phoned see and they are going to phone me back... Anyone lost tickets before and had success? I've heard of a 'box office' on site - curious to hear if others have had similar experience? Trying to remain zen about it all....(!) Dave_c
Can't they just be collected from the returns office? Can't believe they were rejected for a spelling mistake if the postcode etc was correct, unless it was a mistake of epic proportions. slipmatt
The address that the person put on the delivery swapped 275 to 257... 257 doesn't exist (if it did, it would be 1 mins walk from our house). It's been bounced as a 'no address' and en route to Belfast. Doh.
ghostdancer1
so your friend had all the tickets, then posted them to you? if that's the case, and going on past threads like this, See will say that they fulfilled their side and losing the ticket is your problem. as there's no barcode on the ticket, they can't cancel it. if you're lucky, they'll re-issue the ticket for collection at the site, but I remember in the past they have been very awkward about that, and generally just refuse. your best bet would be to hopefully be able to find exactly where the letter is, get RM to hold it, and drive direct to the depot and collect it yourself. see this thread from last year with a similar problem to see what a ballache it all is: Edited June 16, 2017 by ghostdancer1
Smeble
legally see have done their part and sent the tickets to the correct address and the correct recipient has received them. What happened afterwards is unfortunately down you you and your friends, See will just say it's down to you to sort it out and find those tickets, it's no different to you losing them or the dog destroying them. forget See and get on to the Royal Mail. Did they send them recorded delivery? Or put a return address on them? Edited June 16, 2017 by Smeble
