Cologne are having a stinker of a season but that will still be a cracking local derby, I’m jealous, especially if you have standing tickets. Have done virtually all the big teams in NRW bar Cologne, despite staying there on three occasions. If you get the chance, stick some photos of the ground up when you’re back

Photos will be up shortly (well this week, stag do has rendered me useless)

Was a great atmosphere, helped by an unbelievable performance by Koln, the reaction when they showed the league table and they were not bottom was brilliant! Leverkusen on the other hand, never seen a poorer performance, showed nothing.

Agreed Easty. KDB has put in shifts against teams when he really needed to. Isn’t there a stat that you’d be 5th without him?

Thats the difference between the 2. KDB has bossed games. Time and again he he has been the man who has stood up in big games and pulled off match winning performances. Salah has not done that. It is alright scoring 4 against Watford but Salah did not stand up at Old Trafford or the Etihad.

People are raving about Salahs 4 v Watford. Just a reminer that Aguero was on for 4 aginst  them when he was taken off. He also did it away, scored a similar goal and did it when Watford were riding high.

Further proof that the Utd/Maureen thing just ain't working.

Dunno about that. 62% win rate compared to LVG and the Moyesiahs 52%. Klopps is 52%. Contes is 69%. Peps is 71%!

Defo a huge improvement but when the fans are shouting "attack" at home thats never a good sign yeah. Simply needs to play better ball starting against Swansea and then what I assume will be a weakened City team so City don't win the league in the derby.

Which they probably will anyway.

Zlatan off to MLS.  Was nice to have him for that short period of time.

Is this the first time he played in a European league without winning it? Lad has some crazy record of honours whereby in the past pretty much any club he played for seemed to win their league. Bit of a knob at times but top footie player and unplayable when on form.

Yeah 13 league winners medals in 15 seasons. 8 straight leagues between 2003 and 2011.

Just been reading about Argentina's pool of forward players to choose from at the World Cup... Messi, Aguero, Higuain, Dybala, Icardi...

Pick a goal scorer.

Yet they really struggled for goals in qualifying, only Bolivia scored fewer.

Madness! Icardi only ever played one international until last year and he's scored 100 Serie A goals in less than 200 games. Dybala been smashing them in for Juve too but both have only 16 international caps between them and no goals! Both would walk into the England team. Just goes to show how good Messi, Aguero and Higuain are.

Its crazy, and looks like dybala and icardi wont even be going to the world cup. If someone had figured out how to get them all to play together then they really could be such a force.

I’m not convinced because they would still be a team with mediocre keepers, poor defenders and an aging defensive midfielder playing out his retirement in China. Best thing for them is to pick depending on who gets the most from Messi.
