I would add C and G to groups I'm confident which 2 will progress. Group D looks the most entertaining to me.

Peru I assume? I think Denmark could get through with the Russian climate. I'd say H is most entertaining followed by D. They all look good though, B and E somewhat lacklustre but there should be a lot of good games through the group stage.

Pogba

“I hope – and it’s bad to say things like this – but I hope they will get some very important players injured like what happened with us. People don’t see this, don’t speak about this, but every time we have important players that get injured when there is important games. So if that starts happening with them as well maybe we’ll get a little difference. A little touch that makes them weaker.”

Bit of a twat. Glad he has a 3 game ban

"Spurs in 4th consecutive premiership game without a win"

"Can Spurs actually compete in the Premier League?"

"Is Pochettino running out of ideas?"

"Tottenham in crisis?"

The media just aren't talking about Spurs while they're having a bad run. It's amazing. It's not just an anti-Arsenal thing, there's more reports on Newcastle's run without a win than Spurs', and we're a promoted team who had trips to Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge.

If city win tomorrow/today, which is highly likely, then Spurs are as close to the bottom three as they are to the top...

Not really sure of what to make of that loss to united. In one sense I have no clue how we didn't score a ridiculous amount more but then its the same old mistakes that cost us in the big games.

Still think that whilst we persist with Xhaka in the middle of the park we will constantly come up short. As much as mustafi and koscielny are obviously at fault and should have just cleared their lines, the option to give it short through the middle just wasn't there at all. Look how close Ramsey and Xhaka are to Mustafi when he messes up, neither showing for it and giving him that option - the sort of thing that Cazorla was king at. Ramsey is obviously meant to be the runner from deep (which worked wonderfully for the Lacazette goal), which means Xhaka has to be that option - and he is just not good enough in that position, whilst also not being mobile enough to affect the game well enough defensively.

Maybe ive just got a dislike for him that blinkers my view, but he is the real weakness for me.

Dust off the 80s Merseyside footage so.....

Think this was the last one:

Interesting to see if Sam follows through on what he said regarding sacrificing the cups for the league and puts the reserves out.
