What was the car park 'entertainment' in previous years?

Hey

With the new security of this year it says that: "There will, however, be no entertainment or facilities in the car parks and Festival-goers will be expected to remain in their cars until the Festival gates open at 8am on Wednesday morning." what has it been in previous years? And when are you normally allowed to leave your car to start queuing? Do you think they will stick to the rule of not getting out of your car until 8am?

Thanks,

Grace

I believe the entertainment has been sitting in a huge line all night, in the past.

Who knows how it will work this year. Since it'll be almost impossible to stop people getting out if their cars when you get that critical mass of movement, I'd guess they've some sort of holding pen / method. Or not.

We won't know until it happens.

Believe its the same official line every year but realistically they can't/won't stop people getting out of their cars. Same with the "facilities", they'll be toilets.

There kind of has to be toilets - yes we're not camping there, but either we all turn up at 7/8am when we're all allowed out of cars (gridlock on the roads) or we're they're over night plus several additional hours queueing to get in.  Toilets are needed.
