How closed are the roads

Hi all

I'm going to my aunts who lives in pilton on tuesday, staying there overnight and planning to walk to the festival. It's a short 30 minute walk but does require going through a closed road.

 

Obviously as I'm walking will this be an issue??

 

Is it guarded?? lol

 

And once I walk to the old dairy steanbow farm (on here near PG A https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1RIQxyQrsp7RRgx5PSqx2Am5d2es&ll=51.15886436219942%2C-2.6039391480865106&z=17) how do I actually get to the PG A??

Probably a question best answered by @deebeedoobee who also lives in Pilton.  Most of road closures are traffic restrictions but there are some barriers within the village itself which I think you need a village pass to cross.  Steanbow to PGA won't be an issue as you will be walking with all the folks from West carparks.....it'll be pretty obvious where to go.

If you really want to get into it, take a look at schedule 8 here and compare with the map here.

I'd imagine that getting out of Pilton won't be a problem, only getting into it. It's really going to depend exactly where your Aunt lives.

Pilton road!

Driving on the tuesday surely won't be an issue they can't cut all of pilton off??

Security turn up on 17th and barrier all the entrances to the village off. Your aunt would be able to tell you this if she lives in any area that is inside the village. Why not ask her what the score is. Seems a bit strange to be asking the internet if she lives in the village.
