Lemonfest

So, Lemonfest is this weekend - considering taking the family....

Anyone been - is it the kind of place that a reasonable parent would be happy to take their young family? Or is it not really that kind of festival? (full of young people having far too much fun - in a way that shows contempt for the following day, and a total lack of respect for our newfound responsibilities and concerns)

what about chances of sneaking beer in / quality of sound on main stages etc

After friday i can now tell you sound is good. You are unlikely to get beer through the bag searches on the pedestrian gate. Mixed age range but will be a bigger crowd today. Lots of teens having fun.

We spied a 360 degree photo on the facebook page, which showed it to be pretty wet and potentially muddy. 

given our tribe are 3, 1, and 3 weeks old we had to swerve it. They need to be ideal conditions to have any chance of it working out atm.

Anyone got anything to add or been in the years since?  

We have a campervan pass and taking the kids.  I’m presuming we can have drink in the van but get searched entering the “arena”

any info greatfuly received

You could read last years review. Didn’t stay in the van/ camping field so no idea about them. Full bag searches on entry though
