Trying to rethink bags as I'm a backpack person and once out I ain't going back to tent.

This year just using crossover handbag and purchased one of those packaway rucksack that @JoBalls recommended

My list

  • Money
  • Guide
  • Toilet roll & hand sanitizer
  • Packamac
  • Hat
  • Charger & spare memory card
  • Sunglasses
  • Mini sun cream
  • Torch
  • Poncho
  • Hoody or jumper for later
  • Lip balm/face powder/Small brush
  • Ibuprofen
  • Cups and water bottle of spirit (rum etc.)
  • Few beers
  • Phone
  • Glow sticks
  • Bin bag to sit on

Beers, jumper, glow sticks and cups/spirits all for in backpack which will be folded away later, everything else will be in handbag

I first read this as every day curry. Then saw balti had posted!

I keep reading that Bars thread as Bras, and glasto-worker keeps posting in that.

thanks all for your replies! good to know i am on the right track, i havent really used the lock ups before but will organise it this year, leaving some of the heavier/less frequently used items in there. i am guessing it doesnt take too long to queue for the lock ups?

Dump everything in lockups.

poncho

suncream

hat

water bottle

moneybelt

hand sanitizer

travel wet-wipes

Imodium (just in case)

Oxycodine (knackered back and too dangerous to leave in tent) - also means no alcohol to carry.

Clashfinder

phone (use "find my tent" app later).

Bumbag wearers, can anyone recommend a good one that's waterproof? I normally use a cross body bag but I have some shoulder issues this year. I've seen some bumbags that look good in most respects but they don't seem to be waterproof.

ziplock food bags are your friend if bag not fully waterproof

Mrs BP has used this one for the past couple of years and its been fine.  Survived the Alabama Shakes/Mary J Blige downpour with no problems.
