Can I be the first to moan about it being too hot? :P

I think you might be the guy that always stands in front of me 30 seconds before the act starts.

And then puts a hat on.

That could be me, I'm 6'3 and my hat adds another foot. Luckily I try to stand out of the way. If you are trying to find your mates in a crowd though I have my uses.

Heat on its own would be fine, but heat combined with hay fever over the past few days has been very very unpleasant for me. Stayed in the house all day yesterday and medicated myself as much as possible, still ended up completely out of action. Luckily the pollen I'm allergic to is usually down to a very manageable level by Glastonbury time, so if I'm fully medicated then it's not so noticable, but Saturday of 2015 completely fucked me. Get it out the way now so Lawn can Glastonbury unhindered.

I know, the weather at the moment is lovely! But being a full-fledged ginger I'm not looking forward to the prospect of a swealtering Glasto reminiscent of 2010! Sun cream, sweat, never feeling clean despite showering on the Friday, sunburn, heat stroke, not being able to drink booze as it's too dehydrating, being too tired to move, no shade...

Don't get me wrong it would be better than last year's mudfest, but I'm hoping for a solid 20 degrees with some cloud cover and a breeze. :P

I too found 2010 too hot. Took ages to feel up for drinking and I also burn really easily. A mate missed most of Stevie Wonder because he had heatstroke and felt awful by the Sunday night. Fun times in tents is also problematic. I felt like I'd  early died and woken up in some kind of sauna dungeon. Horrible. Give me a reasonable 22-23 degrees, just above room temp, a bit of cloud cover and a light shower during the night or early morning to keep the dust down and stop my asthmatic lungs from coughing the whole time

I've never had an issue with the noise - and besides, who's not wearing earplugs when they sleep?

Ha, even as a seasoned festival attendee I always forget/lose my earplugs. Drunk collapsing onto my airbed at 5am I can't bear searching for them.

When people nearby have had these I genuinely contemplate ripping it off the flap flap flap rustling noise is so irritating.

I've just been prescribed 'Fexofenadine Hydrochloride' tablets. Hay fever has been kicking my ass this spring. Hoping that helps for Glastonbury

Well, you are an odd fellow, but I must say you steam a good ham.

That whole exchange between Skinner and Chalmers is one of my all-time favourite bit of Simpsons dialogue:

"Good Lord! What is happening in there?"

"Aurora Borreallas?"

"Aurora Borreallas? At this time of day? At this time of year? Localised entirely within your kitchen?"

"Yes."

"Can I see it?"

"No."

Yeah they've been really good for me in the past, but I have to get them through alternative means because I don't have a GP.
