I'm a huge fan of Big Ground, even without the flushing loos. Quick access to Williams green/west holts and therefore the naughty corner, nice view from my tent and on a hill. Winner!

Paines, only because it's where  I've always stayed and I know how to get back there is any imaginable state. Sure there's better options.

After 10+ years I don't think it matters that much. Pennard hill may look the best location from the map but tends to fill up really fast and be overcrowded, last time I tried to get in there we ended up out in south park.

Pretty much every field is close to some areas and miles away from others. Best just sticking to somewhere in the fields around the gate you enter through rather than dragging your kit to the opposite side of the site only to find your preferred field is already full.

I prefer to sleep.

I also don't drink milk. If they were selling ice cold cans of Coke or pomegranate San Pellegrino it might be a different matter. But probably not.

If you can get in then Pennard. The crowd isn't the best and it is pretty crowded, but location wise it is the best. Last year it made all the difference being able to easily stop at the tent for half an hour of putting the feet up around 6ish after a day spending trudging through the thick mud clay.

how quickly does Big Ground fill up? I'm guessing very....

On my previous visits I've always gone Pennard Hill. Yes overcrowded, but I'm always shattered when I want to sleep so it's never been a problem. The saving grace is the Young Greens community. They arrive a few days before, set up a campfire and encourage neighbours to socialise and be environmentally responsible. In 2015 they stopped Pennards from being simply crowded and turned it into something quite lovely. I suspect I'll head there again but I'm also open to outer fields.

I have a soft spot for Rivermead  I thought about switching last year to Pennards, but its far too hard to save enough space there, and this year for some inexplicable reason loads of my friend want to turn up on Thursday.... So Riverbed it will probably be again!

Currently trying to persuade group not to go here as it is in Mordor.

Would much prefer areas near Park Home Ground etc

I'm a big fan of Kidney Mead, but my crowd like Oxlyers so I'll be there again this year.

Park Home used to be OK, but not stayed there since Arcadia moved there.

Worst I've stayed is Bushy Ground, felt like I was outside the festival and was like an hour round trip to nip back to the tent for supplies

Don't camp in Paines. Bags off poo everywhere, marauding wild animals, it's a bleak wasteland. Camp anywhere else but Paines. You'd be mad to camp in Paines. Awful place.

I was fortunate enough to camp in the glade crew camping last year and have it again this year and I can't think of a better spot. Feels like it's equidistant to everything.

As far out as possible, Darble for me. When I walk past Oxylers, Pennard Hill and all the other popular camps they seem to be a mess and full of absolute bellends (I'm sure it's not that bad but this is my experience of being in the proximity of these camps)

Having camped in Kidney Mead twice I'd highly recommend. Close to most main routes, decent crowd around, and most importantly, near my beloved toastie van for a solid breakfast.
