Maybe a daft question but I am at Worthy View and by all accounts not too far from the car park... would it be possible if my phone went flat would I be allowed to go back to the car to get a small charge  or is there something I can take.... my daughter has a gizmo gadget for something to charge phones

Regarding the car parks you can visit your car as often as you require.

Please remember that you need to take your admission  ticket with you and any temporary pass out they may give you and keep em safe on the journey to and fro.

It is handy to leave stuff that you may not need in  your car or don't want to carry on you trips.  When its been a hot one or we thought it may  we have left walking boots and wellingtons  and waterproofs.  Not wanting to carry 40 cans on our first trip they get left as well until required.

Not sure why but I always enjoy the walk to and from , possibly because if I have gone on the beer run I usually get through 4 on the walk back to camp to  lighten the load !

Not strictly true with WV. They take your whole ticket and give you an easypass wrist band so you would have no issue going back to your car when ever you wanted. However, I'd still recommend getting a power bank, depending where you are located in WV it can be anything from 5mins to 15mins each way.

That's the thingy  thank you for that ....off to amazon now :-)

Turn off any services you don't need (Bluetooth, WiFi etc), turn off app updates, email, reduce brightness etc and that will help prolong battery life too.

I bought this from Amazon, I got 6 day of full battery from in recently.

someone on here suggested charging whilst awake and not over night because it won't stop sending power even when the phone is full. So first thing in the am when you get up

I have an Anker one and it switches off as soon as the phone is charged - I always charge up at  night, it charges faster when your phone is not in use... you will have an amazing time!

I've got a couple of power packs for me and the Mrs, but I've seen a little thing that goes in the cigarette lighter and has two USB connectors coming out of it. I'm going to get this for the journey there (about 3 hours, but last year it was about 12!) As we will use one phone for Satnav and one for music, which will pretty much flatten both batteries before we get there, meaning we are using the power packs almost straight away, This was they will be completely charged when we leave the car and we've always still go the option of charging the phones in the car too and on the ay home if need be.

Something like this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Anker-Charger-Adapter-PowerDrive-Samsung/dp/B00VH84L5E/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1494759318&sr=8-3&keywords=car+usb+double+charger

Not for WV, it's a different system to the main site. They take your festival ticket away on first entry and give you a special WV wristband. That's all you need to go to and from the car park, which is in the next field - about 5 mins walk from the tents. They then just check your wristband on re-entry.

EDIT: just saw someone's said this with a recommendation too. Ditto :-)
