Padgey
Has this been confirmed yet or are we resigned to it being announced while we're all at the festival?

uscore
I'm expecting the big secret to be so well kept that we'll all still be none the wiser by the time we are home on Monday.
oscs
Unless it's something to do with Ed Sheeran tonight, we've probably had this 'really big secret' now. What do you reckon she was referring to? I'd say the options are: Liam Gallagher, Jeremy Corbyn, The Killers, erm...
Northtim
Surely it was The Killers - Michael & Emily were side of stage and the guy on stage after said something about it being a big secret to keep. Previous headliner and still a big band. It might not be as big as some were expecting but it fits. (and it was a hell of an atmosphere in there)
Rose-Colored Boy
yeah definitely The Killers. Without a doubt.
uscore
Certainly a bigger secret than Liam! I think that must have been it too.
kalifire
Oh dear. Emily's resigned herself to her father's school of hyperbole after that.

SomeoneListeningIn
Tbh i don't think it's too big of an exaggeration. Everyone just looked into it too much (hence 195 pages of discussion ). They are a previous headliner, still could be a headliner at large UK festivals (arguably still Glasto too). And it fit with what she said about no one really guessing it at the start. Don't think many people expected The Killers to pop up.

Sold out Wembley Stadium four years ago, stock may have fallen a bit since then but they're still a massive act who weren't remotely rumoured until that Brandon interview a few weeks ago. if it feels disappointing that's only because people were suggesting silly things like Fleetwood Mac and Led Zep Edited June 25, 2017 by Zac Quinn

Just checking I hadn't missed any massive goings on elsewhere, like the Queen popping in to West Holts stage or something. Do we think Ed Sheeran could bring something surprising to his set tonight? Hard to live up to the precedent Foo Fighters and Radiohead have set... The A Team merging into Wonderwall with Noel and Liam anyone? (That is 200% definitely not going to happen.) kalifire
I'd say there's a strong chance of Swifty tonight. It'll be the only thing that would kind of wish I was there (for that bit).

I'm fairly sure they will, if the fest want them and they agreed to do that theb they'll want and get them for a proper headline slot for either 19 or 20. The one I'm less sure on now is The Roses.
