Celebrating Glastonbury from afar - ideas?

Sadly missing out on Glastonbury this year as I'll be more than 6 months pregnant by the time it rolls around. (And knowing myself didn't want to make Glastonbury any physically tougher than it usually is by attempting it pregnant!) I don't feel any angst or regret about choosing to give this year a miss (in the sense that I feel the decision was rather made for me, and for a happy reason), but definitely feeling that Glastonbury itch and wanting to find a way to celebrate it in some way despite not getting to be there.

Any ideas for how to capture a bit of the Glastonbury spirit outside the event itself? I'm thinking the main ingredients are: enjoying the summer outside as much as possible, watching it on TV (particularly non-Pyramid stuff) - a poor substitute but got to take what I can get!, and getting out to any similar local gigs I can (some good outdoor events in Bristol, for instance). What am I missing?

Last year me and my usual Glasto group had a bbq and a house party. Stuck the TV outside in the back garden and put the coverage on. Nice to reminisce but my god were we banging on about the foul acts we would commit if we failed to get tickets for this year. Fortunately we all got tickets on initial sale.

We also got pretty ruined Glasto style bit that may not be an option if you're pregnant!

Hose the garden down every day for a month and then drive a few tractors through it.

Eat all of your meals from paper plates off your knees.

Get a shipping container and ask all of your neighbours to piss and shit in it for a week.

Sleep in a tent (obviously) but ask a stranger to stumble and fall on the tent at 5am every night, while laughing.

When guests arrive, insist annoyingly that they "don't turn around" until they see the garden.

On Monday, complain about how your garden isn't as good as it used to be.

if you get yourself down to the Sweet Mart in Bristol's St Mark's Road you can pick up some samosas that are at least as good as the ones sold by Ghandi's Flip Flop ... which will give you some of the flavour. :P

(I have a feeling they're actually the same ones that the Flip-Flop sells, tho i could be wrong).
