The A Splendid Day Out airship will land in Morecambe for its fourth year of top-hole entertainment. Presented by The League of Splendid another weekend of astounding entertainment and events take place throughout Morecambe at The Platform, The Carleton, The Midland, Winter Gardens and the Strathmore Hotel.

Starting at the Carleton with the "Krak'n Night Out" on Friday the 2nd of June with an eclectic offering from Radio 2 d.j Mark Radcliffe's Galleon Blast, Seas Of Mirth and Victor and the Bully.

Saturday the 3rd and Sunday the 4th of June will see The Platform and Winter Gardens host a marvellous itinerant Steampunk artisan market and entertainment from the quite astounding Ash Mandrake, and Miss Harri Dean. Outside will be transformed into an Airship Pirate of delights with The DeatBeats, Carlisle Cloggers, Penny farthing rides, Caidhli dancing, fashion show, Pirate re-enactments, victorian fairground and much much more, it is not to be missed.

Dancing the night away at our famous Masked Ball at the Strathmore hotel with Driven Serious, Alice's Night Circus and Lady Violet Hugh is surely an event not to be missed.
