MikeEssex85
A few people put QOTSA albums 'Rated R' and 'Songs for the Deaf' which do both have amazing 3 songs to start off, yet personally I prefer the 3 from their 1st Self Titled album 'Queens of the Stone Age' Regular John Avon If Only They blow you away and tell you everything you need to know about this band - It's gonna be 1 hell of a ride! vintagelaureate
Whilst not a seminal album like some of the aforementioned, I put forward 3 songs from a genre defining album - Bleed American by Jimmy Eat World. 1. Bleed American 2. A Praise Chorus 3. The Middle Probably some of Jimmy's finest songs nearly packaged in an opening trio. Genre defining at the time and certainly thrust the band into the limelight. Whilst I don't claim these to be the 'best ever', I do think their one heck of a strong album opening!

In Bloom 3. Come as you are It's gotta be. Though also fucking killer is: 1) Serve the Servants 2) Scentless Apprentice 3) Heart-Shaped Box Bright Eyes - I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning, though it's a perfect album from start to finish: 1) At the Bottom of Everything 2) We Are Nowhere and It's Now 3) Old Soul Song (for the New World Order) I'd also go Suede - Dog Man Star, though would stretch it to 4: 1) Introducing the Band 2) We Are the Pigs 3) Heroine 4) The Wild Ones
