Those smaller acts

I always enjoy seeing some of the smaller, fun acts on the Wednesday and Thursday and would love to hear your suggestions for the unmissable ones to try. 

In past years, our groups have enjoyed:

- Power Ballad Yoga

- OMG It's the Church

- New York Brass Band

- Showhawk Duo

- Wheel of Four Tunes

All are good for a few drinks and giggle with friends.

Thrill Collins. Saw them three times by the bandstand last year. They must have thought we were stalking them.

Mamadoo Fireshow - Great fire performance on the tiny A Little More Sensation stage every night from Thursday.

Chris Ellis & Brian Bootby: My wednesday evening ritual is to watch these guys with a couple of cocktails in Mandala. Brilliant guitarists.

Wheel of Four Tunes were great, I saw them on the Thursday night last year. Mik Artistik is always worth seeing too. Had a great time up in the rabbit hole sheltering from the wet stuff.

Another vote for Wheel of Four Tunes.  But another highlight last year was Lekkido Lord of the Lobsters - brilliantly good fun.

Wheel of four tunes was a massive highlight for me last year 

New York Brass Band were my festival opener on the greenpeace stage last year and it was incredible, the atmosphere was so much fun 

A few of my mates go and see The Smyths every year and always come back happy

RSVP seen them a couple of times over the years either on Glade, Bandstand or Heaven. Love the dance lessons

Rodney Branningan on the Small World Stage I think it was - he was awesome

Also Jimmy Davis and the Barefoot Apostles in Croissant Neuf another great surprise 

I know Rodney Branningan is definitely there this year again

Pyramids Of Snafu on Mandala Tent. Great if not slightly shambolic space rock band. Usually plays Thursday evening at around midnight depending on how long it takes for them to set their gear up.

Always make time to see Herbie Treehead. Ridiculous. Saw him twice last year, never fails to make me laugh.
