galbani
Ola! We are thinking about going to the IoW again this year. Ticket sales have been underwhelming to say the least... We can afford to wait till the last possible moment - even buying from the organisers / distributors if needs be but.... How low will prices drop for tickets from people who just can't make the gig? I saw them last year £200 for the weekend for the pair.
Ejestivals
I reckon they'll let you name your price
Smeble
How do you know the sales have been underwhelming?
rawaudioinput
Last year on the Thursday evening I sold two weekend tickets for £
galbani
Aren't they giving festival tickets away with every ferry ticket you buy? Or something like that....

The other way round I think. Either way they must be struggling to sell tickets, but with a line up like that it's hardly surprising. galbani
A pair of tickets from Ticketmaster (I despise them passionately) - £420 A pair of 'Maggie May Day' tickets - £240 (IoW address needed) Quite a difference! £180 will buy quite a lot of beer, even at festival prices... Now do I wait and buy some off Gumtree or similar, or get the MMD tickets?

Also last year which was a very similar situation to this year tickets wise (with a stronger line up) you could pick up tickets from touts for 50-100 quid

rawaudioinput
My friend and I both won a competition on Thursday so ended up with two spare weekend tickets; that was legitimately the going rate by Thursday evening

I thought you'd paid £200+ for tickets and sold for £40 each.
rawaudioinput
I think I didn't sell them for £40, but £50 for the pair Obviously with winning the tickets I didn't mind getting so little for them

Two for one this morning on Ticketmaster, from 09.00, must be bought in pairs. £105 plus their usual extortionate fees.

They don't need to bought in pairs. The only festival in the flash sale which doesn't have that requirement. galbani
£100 a ticket for the weekend seems to be the going rate at the moment.
