Trying to expand my musical horizons by giving Kano a go this afternoon.

I think it's fair to say that I may not really get this. The energy's amazing, but that's in the same way I can appreciate the technical skill of a painting without actually wanting to look at the thing.

Live might be interesting. But it's not doing my ears any favours right now

Yeah, but his solo stuff just doesn't do it for me.  It's fair to apply that to grime in general though, not just Kano. Appreciate it, don't necessarily enjoy it.

Hmm, drunk posting from me.  Kano wasn't on Demon Days, he was on Plastic Beach, I'm clearly a big fan.

Got the new Future Islands album on. Sounding very Future Islandsy. Basically Singles Part 2, which isn't a bad thing. 

Would love to see them but they'll have to lose out to the clashes I reckon.
