I'm going the other way this year, after multiple Glastos of doing the drive through the night, we're going to try a mid/late morning arrival and camping in a less desirable campsite. The past couple have completely drained me for the rest of the festival and I'm not much of a day napper, so the non-prime location could be a price worth paying for a full 8 hours sleep on the Tuesday night. -
I'm with you about feeling unconfortable watching them but I'm not sure if it would necessarily put them off being booked. Most people would have known James Brown was a notorious wifebeater, yet still tuned up to watch him in 2004. Jackson Browne has had a good slot on the Pyramid Stage after similar allegations have been made against him. Axl Rose is alleged to have done some awful things towards women yet still headlined a couple of years ago. Bez played last year despite being convicted of assaulting an ex, and then breaching a follow-up restraining order. I'm not sure where the organisers would draw the line? Chris Brown? Apologies for going a bit off-topic in the tour annoiuncements thread but I suppose it shows how much Arcade Fire's stock has dropped in the UK. Until a couple of years ago, they'd have been a shoe-in for APE, Finsbury Par, Crystal Palce or even BST. -

What do you guys think about Stella Maris? Will the co-headline or will they be given an early-evening slot and Tropical f**k Storm will play before Phoenix? As I understand it, they are a TV-Show offspring, but what audience does that show appeal to? Is that something teens watch and thus, PS would place them at like 7pm the latest? If the running order is Ratboys - TFS - Phoenix, I'd probably chose that over The National. Then again, we don't know, if The National will get an act as support that would make their gig more worthwile. -
The Deep Blue and Haircut 100 are both Friday (from their respective twitters) afternoon and evening respectively.
