Biffy and Foals both co-headlined R+L last year, with both nights them featuring as the "main" headliner. So assuming Foals=Biffy, then I can totally see Biffy subbing for Foos in the same way Foals subbed for Muse.

Go with this theory, just to say though, timing wise Biffy were given a set length over FOB in the end which indicated that as much as it was billed co-headliner, it was a longer set...probably as a thank you for bailing them out.

Not that it really matters but Foals were only on last at Reading. Disclosure closed the night at Leeds.

I'm hoping Biffy headline the other stage Sunday night as I want to see Metronomy then and I don't want Metronomy clashing with The xx. But yeah Biffy subbing on the pyramid would be my guess.

Saturday evening clash from hell there. The whole Chic-Phoenix-Avalanches (though times wise, could be toots) would be hell on earth. I'd have the distinct feeling that - having only got into Phoenix in the last few weeks as rumours ramped up - that I could end up missing them because Chic are probably second on my must see list.

Conversely, that's a chiller Sunday - Bazza-Lorde-Perry-XX. I could be down for that.

I've been out all day. Has there been any good indications throughout the day of who may be headlining or sub-headlining each stage and when?

Metronomy self-confirmed as headlining John Peel on Sunday, Neil thinks Katy Perry is Radiohead's sub, think that's about it as far as anything concrete goes

Perry subbing Radiohead? Didn't see that coming! How sure is Neil? There'll be a big changeover of fans at the Pyramid after Perry! I presume this is now making people wonder where XX are, if they aren't subbing Radiohead?

Didn't think so

I haven't had a proper look at what he said but out of the three headliners Radiohead are the last one I'd imagine Katy Perry playing before, although for me that'd be mega - up front and centre for both!

Still think he was joking though and it'll be The xx.

Yeah on the face of it Katy before Ed and The xx before RH both make far too much sense not to happen, though I guess they might have decided not to be so obvious in the good old interests of churn..

It's not out of the realms as crowd changeover would be the aim if possible, imagine Katy Perry vs Royal Blood on Other. Biffy Clyro could sub Ed with The XX subbing FF to really mix it up. Haven't seen where Neil said it though.

I was pretty sure he was joking as well - especially after his tweet (and the fact he hasn't shifted her on the lineup page)

Given how high he is on the poster and that they seem to be pushing grime a lot more, what's people's thoughts on Stormzy being 3rd down Pyramid on Saturday? Would be a big slot but with the hype over him just now I could maybe see it happening.

I think he'll 4th down or 3rd down on Other.

I reckon 4th down Pyramid Friday (the 'hip hop' slot as efesters refer to it as,)

Something like Radiohead - The xx - Royal Blood - Stormzy.
