Chic on the West Holts is a highlight for me from the last 9 festivals.

It was a great show, so excited by this news!

Hmmmmm....has he done daytime shows at any other fests, given that his tunes have more of a nocturnal sort of vibe?  Given how well it went for them last time I can maybe see 'em back at WH.  He's been pretty vocal in the past about how well that went down.

Something good happening twice is better than one good thing and one different but bad thing happening.

The thing that would give me pause is the similarity to The Jacksons as headliners.

I'm saying Friday night on WH just like in 2013. George Clinton parliament-funkadelic played in 2010 then played 4 glastonburys later in 2015 in exactly the same slot (headlining WH on the Saturday). Same thing could easily happen with Chic & Nile Rogers

I just think that if the Eavis' know how well Chic and Nile Rogers work headlining the WH stage they're gonna want to book them as regularly as they can

The Eaviis dont book WH, but I know what you mean.

It's also predicated on who is available / up for it.  If Kraftwerk say Nein but Nile says Aye then its a no brainer to invite him back.

Be a bit disappointing to have them back so soon in the same slot, especially as it'd no doubt mean me missing them again, but aye, it was nothing but a huge success last time so I could see why the organisers (and Nile) would like to replicate that. Still think he'll be elsewhere on the lineup though - if he loved it so much last time I can't see him being averse to playing to an even bigger crowd this time, even if it isn't in his preferred night time slot.
