Aye, it could be totally unfounded, one of those friend of a friend situations. The story I was told was that it was Iain who was wanting to step away from band. Didn't think too much of it, then when they released their new song they said they were working with an external producer for the first time so I wondered if maybe it was true and this album is them testing the water to working without Iain.

I don't care as long as she still gets on stage with that pretty little face all sexy as fuck :D :D :D

Definitely a non-story and something that we hear every year, but just saw this so thought I'd share (For those who hate a clickbait title, the article says that '[Eavis] revealed that some of the biggest acts will be "two or three that have never played".')

I was just reading about this on the Metro site and they say the same but also that it won’t be returning to Somerset and would instead be in the Midlands.

Fleetwood Mac, their last tour was 2.5 years, with 6months off in the middle.

they're supposed to be starting touring later this year.

As I understand the last tour was 90 shows  or  something went round the world and one of the female members moaned it was far too long and when the last show was finished she was done and considered herself retired.  But I suppose decisions can be reversed or that member can be replaced ?

I'm not sure they plan that far ahead nowadays.

But yeah, they've got to be one of the major possibilities. I'd guess U2 would be too (who I'd put as more likely).

Metallica for Other Stage could be a possible ?  They are not playing festivals in Europe this year so I wonder if the  touring juggernaut that is them will return to the European festival circuit next year ?  James Hetfield  ( i am sure ) did say they would be on the road for three years with Hard Wired and 2018 is year 2.

not impossible I guess, but it wouldn't be the sort of thing which had Emily a bit excited about 2020.

Wolf Alice spring to mind for 2020 and prob far more easier to get a verbal agreement from them rather than a vintage /classic act .
