Mr.Tease
In case I don't get chance later, a big thank you for all the time and effort everyone has put into this weather thread- the pooling of data, the sharing of charts and forecasts, the jokes- much appreciated! Hope we are all rewarded with the finest Glastonbury weather yet! 3

Gozzynoko-Flow
I think the omnipotent threat of a bit of rain keeps us all on our toes and immensely more grateful when it's dry. The good times are even better basically when you've felt the terror

I had taken my parka. To be fair I was protected from sunburn but still felt like I'd been fucked by a sweaty bear when I got in. The only advantage to being stuck in that blazing sunshine in the queue was that I made my load lighter by a fair number of beers.

It changes multiple times per day. Today's Friday forecast has gone from totally dry, to one evening shower, to prolonged rain for several hours, back to dry and now 2 patches of rain. somecoolusername
For most of yesterday BBC app was saying there would be storms in London at some point during the day... There weren't, and that was the same day forecast
CaledonianGonzo
Tomorrow's thunder storm sodding off is the main thing.
cloudb
Do we know what time tomorrow that thunder storm is potentially due? Or more importantly when will we know if we've dodged the heavy rain?

Gozzynoko-Flow
To be fair, over the years I've personally found the BBC the most reliable for weather forecasts. But it's clearly a bit volatile over the days of the festival - but thankfully that volatility doesn't appear to feature anything biblical. XIV
Part of my Glastonbury build up is watching this thread and enjoying the rollercoaster. Ultimately it doesn't matter as come rain or sun we are all to have a wonderful time. Thanks guys, see you at the front for Radiohead. You could sit on the ground by Sunday. But Friday, maaaaannn! Friend was going to leave her wellies in the car on Thursday, saying she could 'pop back and get them if I need them'. I persuaded her otherwise. Was she glad I did!! Brownie points for me

barkley87
Does anyone know of any free or cheap weather sms alerts? I still want weather updates during the festival but my phone won't have internet access to check what the Norwegians are saying.
