This one is interesting as it more clearly shows the breakdown of the hot, dry spell somewhere Tuesday / Wednesday, which is a little further forward than before.

So as suspected from as far back as a week ago, we've missed the good weather by a week and it is going to rain.

Now its just a question of how much. Metcheck say every day, starting Sunday.

Don't worry people, this doombringer above is trying to mask the fact that we will have perfect festival weather.

Yes there is rain forecast every day but its very minimal either late at night or early morning

Solid ground, warmish temperatures and good cloud cover to minimise sunburn, slight bit of moisture at times when the site won't be busy to keep dust at bay.

It may be cooler as we progress into the festival but we'll be in busy crowds at that point so it won't be uncomfortable and probably quite refreshing.

Yep, gutted we missed it. As you say it is how much rain and if the ground can dry quick enough

I don't believe there's rain forecast tues, weds or thurs?

Latest gfs run certainly doesn't indicate so.

This also makes me sad

Not till you look at the quantity forecast, barely 1mm in total. It will be nice and refreshing without creating rivers or swamps. The times forecast mean during the day people can sit on the grass and the nights bring the moisture to keep the ground in good condition.

Optimism people! Don't lose the faith yet :D

Rain is a bit of a stretch, drizzle is more appropriate.

Timings of said rain more important than amount for me.

The ground clearly has the capability to absob quite a bit following this dry spell - and as long as the initial shower isnt heavy and cause flooding before the ground starts its sponging the lamount of rain isnt as big of a factor

However if the rain hits at peak footfall travel times itll still cause issues.
