Yeah last year we knew we were fucked but were desperately clinging to hope that it would dry out a bit before the festival. This year is a vast improvement already!

Early next week thundery showers could break out as the warmest air is shunted back into the near continent. Nonetheless a good deal of fine weather is probable and the second half of the week could see a renewed surge of heat as a Spanish Plumesets-up. Buzz takes a look at the exceptional heat building in southern Europe.

Probably the last update to this before I head off to site on Saturday.

This one is interesting as it more clearly shows the breakdown of the hot, dry spell somewhere Tuesday / Wednesday, which is a little further forward than before.  Not to say it won't stay dry - the rainier forecasts are still looking less likely until the 23rd (Friday), but looks like the cloud will come in.

Personally going for warm and cloudy from Wed, maybe a spot or two of rain Fri / Sat, risk of heavier showers Sat / Sun, but nothing really worrying.

Has anyone got a link for some portable ground drilling equipment, these tent pegs aren't going to slide in.

I reckon it's going to be mainly sunny with a couple of showers; not enough to churn the ground up as it won't be torrential during the build-up.
